Oh Cedric, how the Mighty Hath Fallen

Saw Water for Elephants. I was NOT amused. Anyone reading this, please read the book before seeing the film.

The Beginning of the End

I can't believe it's almost over. Gringotts is gonna be bitchin'...And so is Mrs. Weasley...Well, pretty sure everything is going to be bitchin' so let's just celebrate part 2!

Disney Reaches 50 Animated Features

Who knew there were so many? Keep watch for 41 and 43; they are easily some of the most underappreciated Disney films.

Call of the Dead Trailer

Umm, yes please! How does COD continue to take steps in the right direction? By hiring people like George Romero to help out.

Missy goes Missing

So there's this graphic designer guy named David Thorne. Those who read Wired would have seen him mentioned this month but to those who don't, he is hilarious. Do yourselves a favor and go to this post on his website (click the picture!) where he 'helps' his friend look for her lost cat by designing flyers.

Needless to say, he wasn't very determined to actually find the cat...

Sassy Gay Friend Never Fails to Amuse

Saw Black Swan last night with a few friends. I still think it's a well done film but this pretty much sums up the downsides of it:

Where are the Elric Brothers when you Need Them?

If Frollo had a philosopher's stone why the hell didn't he use it!!! Ahaha I'm sure few will understand this but after watching Hunchback of Notre Dame I couldn't get the idea out of my head. It would have made the film even better if the Fullmetal Alchemist came in to take care of business.

PS: Those arrows are 100% my own drawing. Hooray for a beginner learning the powers of Photoshop.

New Cowboys and Aliens Trailer

Alright, so they've introduced more alien footage and cheesy lines like "you know who you are, you just have to remember." I already know that Olivia Wilde was better in Tron. Honestly, I'm not entirely sold on Cowboys and Aliens but it just might be crazy enough to work. I mean, Jon Favreau is the guy behind it and he has an awesome cast to boot. Which brings me to pretty much the reason I bothered to post the new trailer: did anyone else know Sam Rockwell was in it?! That was quite the nice surprise and I'm now willing to buy a ticket. Who's with me?

Hardcore Parkour!

Did anyone watch Jump City Seattle on G4 last month? It was a parkour competition that took place right here in the Emerald City and it was pretty awesome. Team Tempest pretty much owned and they didn't even have Levi Meeuwenberg (a crowd favorite, as well as my own) for most matches after he fractured his wrist in a round. The show was a good idea and I'm guessing team Tempest got some pretty good compensation for joining the competition because they now have Tempest Freerunning Academy. And it looks beautiful. Certainly better than Parkour Visions, the small but still awesome freerunning gym we have in Seattle..

Hunger Games Watch: Part 2

A while back I shared that Jennifer Lawrence won the role of Katniss in the upcoming Hunger Games film. Who's next on the cast list? We now have a new Peeta and Gale. Honestly, I felt the reverse actors made more sense but after thinking it over I can still see it working out. Josh Hutcherson (on the left), who I only knew from a bunch of kids movies like Zathura, landed the role of Peeta. He has potential as an actor and is still unknown enough to bring a fresh quality to the role. Liam Hemsworth (on the right), who I'm pretty sure is only known from that one shitty Miley Cyrus movie (The Last Song?), has been lucky enough to be our Gale. Lets hope these guys do the film proud.

Michael, I Need a Favor

The teefury shirt today is too beautiful to not share with the rest of the world. Pretty sure if you are looking at this site you have seen Arrested Development. If you have not, look it up now, because you are missing out on an awesome show that never should have ended.

Give your thanks to designer Edman

Thank Baby Jesus for Tobuscus

Yep. I had to somehow get rid of the warm, fuzzy feeling of the free hugs video and this is how I did it. Even with his lyrics I still find the trailer sad.

Free Hugs Will Save the World

I'm usually not the type to love the whole 'warm, fuzzy feeling' that this video evokes. Nor am I the hippie I appear for posting this; but in a time where there seems to be so much hatred in the world, its always nice to feel some love.
